Enemies (Destiny 2)
There are a variety of enemies likely to featured in Destiny 2.
Summary[edit | edit source]
The world of Destiny contains many deadly, weird and murderous creatures, ranging from killer robots that wish to convert everything to data, to militaristic ‘space rhinos’ who desire conquest for their Emperor. With Destiny 2, all these return, but with a few more additions to their ranks, for example the Marauders for the Fallen and Incendiors for the Cabal. New enemies require new takedown methods. Eyes up Guardian.
Enemies[edit | edit source]
Legionary: The basic grunt of the Cabal. Usually found in groups or herding a patrol of War Beasts.
War Beast: The up close and personal unit of the Cabal, these will run at you and claw and bite you to shreds. Usually found in groups.
Phalanx: The shield of the Phalanx is impenetrable from the front, but if you find a certain spot, it may malfunction...
Centurion: Commander of platoons of Cabal, these brutes like to shoot a high powered ball of energy at you, occasionally hovering in the air to flush you out of cover. Shooting their energy shield with the same colour weapon will cause a high powered explosion, damaging itself and surrounding enemies heavily.
Incendior: The king of territorial control, the Incendior specialises in shooting flames at you, dealing damage over time, and making you more vulnerable for his comrades to pick you off. It can also shoot a highly deadly burst of flames, which knocks you back, deals a lot of damage and sets you on fire, dealing tick damage for 6 seconds.
Colossus: An absolute powerhouse of a unit, Colossi are no joke. Wielding a high power rail gun, they can mow you down in seconds. Along with mini missiles that it occasionally throws out, which not only damage, they also slow you, there’s nowhere to hide if a Collosus spots you.
Psion: One of the weakest units, the Psion excels in sniping from a long distance. It can also do close range, with a little slug rifle. The Psion is excellent at setting you up for its friends though, with a grenade which launches you in the sky for all to shoot at.
Scorpius: A mobile turret that shoots extremely quickly, a lot like a Colossus. Variants of this can be found in the Arms Dealer Strike, where they throw flames, like an Incendior.
